Cinnamon Raisin Bread

Here is the perfect treat to make in your bread maker, making it the perfect combination with a cup of quality organic coffee.  I found this recipe at Bread Maker Machines, many thanks!

Cinnamon Raisin Bread


Yield 1 1.5 pound loaf

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 12 teaspoons yeast
  • 34 cup raisins


  1. Add all the ingredients in order given except the raisins.
  2. Add raisins in on the “add in” beep.
  3. Bake on “sweet bread” setting.

After the bread has cooled top with a light powdered sugar glaze!
